Despite the march towards progress for the freedom to marry, many of us in San Francisco come from communities where there is still a lot of work to be done. Over 206 million people live in a state where they can be fired for being gay, lesbian, bisexual, or transgender! And we are fighting back against a long list of anti-lgbt bills. In Oklahoma 18 anti-lgbt bills were defeated just in the first half of 2015!
Together we will win.
This is a last minute call to join the BATGMAS (Bay Area T-girl / G-girl Mutual Admiration Society) at their Meetup! Their group is run by Minia who is just one of the greatest people. Check out, and join, their group for more activities.
Thanks to Minia and Charla for pointing out this event.
Unfortunately, i won’t be able to go myself, but please introduce yourself as a member of TGSF, if you go.
